This night will be the UK debut for both Texas singer-songwriter HEATHER LITTLE and Nashville-based alt country singer JOSH GRAY. His album Walk Alone made quite some waves in the European americana scene and Josh is definitely not your usual “plastic country” performer. To say he is outspoken is a euphemism for a man who thinks: ”You may claim it’s your right to stockpile ammo and enough weapons to destroy a small town: well, I say it’s my right to raise my daughter in a country where classrooms are not gunned down.” His sold out Dutch tour January 2024 als established him as a great live performer which earned him a booking for the prestigeous Ramblin Roots Festival in Utrecht, a festival that also booked Heather Little for an exclusive show in the Netherlands.

Heather is a songwriter’s songwriter who creates from the truth of her own experiences. Her voice has drawn comparisons to Patty Griffin and Lori McKenna, with a writing style similar to Gretchen Peters and Kris Kristofferson. Her songs have been recorded by some of the biggest names in country music, but her own delivery is arrestingly vulnerable and accessible. She is the recipient of two BMI awards for songwriting.

After a 10 year hiatus, Heather Little returned to the recording front with By Now, an album that has received unprecedented praise in the grass roots americana community. Little is not only recognized  as the eminent songwriter, but also as the best performer of her own musical short stories. Or, as Americana UK puts it: “Confessional words and a fine supporting cast make for one of the best country-based albums you’ll hear this year.”
