Roundtable Collective presents… SEAPOST and TOMMY HARE
Canadian folk-noir songwriter Dana Sipos, renowned Australian/Irish flautist Lina Andonovska (mem. Crash Ensemble) and experimental, Montréal-based cellist Justin Wright, and have joined forces as SEAPOST, an exciting new trio that merges traditional folk sounds with experimental textural playing.
The three in-demand, independent touring musicians met while attending a music residency at the prestigious Banff Centre for the Arts in autumn 2019, and felt an immediate musical kinship and a desire to further experiment with their one-of-a-kind blend of musical interests and talents, while giving a voice to each individual project.
TOMMY HARE:
It’s been my life’s work mastering the great American musical traditions of blues, rock & roll, country and soul. In pursuit of this goal, I’ve had the privilege of performing to audiences all over the world and alongside some of my heroes.
You can come and see me do my thing with a host of great musicians, where we hope to touch some of the magic of old with the classics and make a little of our own with original material.
– Tommy
For this intimate gig at Green Note Tommy will be joined by accomplished fiddler and doctor of the bagpipes, DUNCAN MENZIES (Copper Viper, Perkelt).
