An evening with HANK WANGFORD, JOSE MCGILL and NOEL DASHWOOD

Hank Wangford, the twisted Godfather of British Country music, has picked at its dark underbelly since his messianic derailment from Soul and Psychedelia onto Country after befriending Gram Parsons in the seventies.

In the eighties he spread the word with his groundbreaking TV series, “HW’s A to Z of C&W” and “Big Big Country”.

Vagaband frontman, José McGill has taken his soulful, eclectic roots-rock sound across the UK & Europe since the mid 90s. Tonight he’ll be playing stripped back Vagaband material from newly released ‘Beautiful World’ album.

Noel Dashwood has swiftly established himself as one of the UKs finest dobro players. As a multi-instrumentalist to both The Vagaband and Hank Wangford, Noel will provide added musical accompaniment to the evening’s material whilst premiering songs and instrumentals from his fresh released self-titled debut album.

Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
