In this intimate show, hear Welsh superstar Mared Williams in duo with bass guitarist Dave Edwards. As long-time collaborators, the two have mastered this ultra-stripped back texture; Edwards’ deep and warming bass tones provide a bed for Williams’ vocals. Her voice reminds one of a young Joni Mitchell or Eva Cassidy, and is at once delicate and powerful. This show marks the pair’s first public performance as a duo in over 6 years.
