IMOGEN CLARK: Nashville-based Australian singer-songwriter returns to Green Note for her first UK show in 5 years, celebrating the release of her new album The Art of Getting Through.
Recorded in part at Abbey Road, as well as iconic studios in Los Angeles, Nashville, Sydney and Melbourne, the new album features Imogen’s signature widescreen, melodic, anthemic songwriting. From the cathartic to the deeply intimate, mixing indie rock, pop and folk, the album is relatable and inspiring, tales of finding strength, following dreams, opening your heart and finding ways to live with your worst memories and impulses, and get through life’s deepest challenges.
Imogen has toured with Robyn Hitchcock, Steve Poltz, Shania Twain, The Tallest Man On Earth and Jim Lauderdale, and collaborated on record with members of Bright Eyes, Gang of Youths, My Morning Jacket, Elvis Costello’s Imposters, Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers, The Traveling Wilburys, Camp Cope and more.
Doors open 7.30pm, Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited, and available on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
