DAVE BURN is a London-based rootsy folk Americana singer-songwriter distinguished by his memorable melodies and shrewd lyricism, who early on was hailed as capturing an atmospheric reality set somewhere between Neil Young and Calexico, and Tom Petty, in terms of writing style.

He also currently performs alongside singer-songwriter Kirsten Adamson in harmony laden duo The Marriage and contributes regularly to Orphan Colours, another band he was fundamental in starting.
Having strong family ties with the US from a young age, Dave spent many weeks each year with his grandfather in Arizona where he was immersed in the vast and cinematic vista of the sun-soaked landscape, imprinting its majestic, yet rugged beauty on his development as a musician. He first struck out on his own with his aptly named and highly lauded debut solo album “Arizona” back in 2017, but before then broke through as the vocalist and guitarist of alt-country Americana band ahab, who impressed everyone with their seamless 4-part vocal harmonies, and enjoyed a whirlwind few years on the Americana scene gaining famous fans such as BBC Radio DJ’s Bob Harris and Simon Mayo.

At various points, Dave Burn has gone on to co-write with many other highly regarded artists of the genre, including Danny & The Champions Of The World, Blair Dunlop, Danni Nicholls, Benjamin Folke Thomas, Katzenjammer, and Sol Heilo.

With support from ADRIAN ROYE

“Full of love and passion, Roye’s voice brings tears to the eyes.”

Adrian, having spent the last few years writing for other artists, returns to share his own stories in his own captivating way. Honest, visceral, and always heartfelt, his cross-cultural roots and impassioned storytelling led him and his previous band, Adrian Roye & Exiles, to be invited to record an album with acclaimed Tony Award-winning folk composer and musician Michael Chorney. Veering between Americana and Folk, Adrian’s soulful delivery draws from his North London upbringing and personal observations. Highly praised for his live performances and command of the stage, his gift is that you’ll always come away with a story that resonates and a song in your heart. This new beginning will mark the release of new music, seeing Adrian team up with past collaborator Dave Burn (AHAB/Orphan Colours), delivering a soul-stirring sound all over again.

Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
