BURR ISLAND: Piquing the ears of folk fans for their rich acoustic soundscapes, Burr Island bare their soul crafting poignant lyricism that poses thought-provoking questions about life’s pressing matters.
After recording at Kundalini Studios in Devon with Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene, The Specials), their self released debut album garnered support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing and Radio X.
Recent live shows include opening for Robert Plant & Saving Grace, UK Tours supporting Ocean Colour Scene playing at some iconic venues, Hammersmith Eventim Apollo & Barrowlands Ballroom to name a couple. They also played to a sold out audience at Union Chapel, supporting Paul Weller as well as two sell out London headline shows.

SUPPORT FROM GIGI WILDE: A 2023 Roundhouse Rising Artist, Gigi explores self, family, endings and beginnings through poetic lyricism and guitar led instrumentals. Raised on folk & jazz before making her way on the London jazz scene, Gigi’s music takes inspiration from artists such as Prince, The Strokes, Feist, Lianne La Havas, all converging on an irresistible sound that bridges the gap between her musical roots.Her music has brought her to stages at Brick Lane Jazz Festival, Wild Paths & Kite Festival, as well as performing at the Roundhouse as part of the Rising Artist residency. She has received support from Jamie Cullum and has had her music played on BBC Radio 2, BBC Oxford & Soho Radio. She has toured the UK as a guest artist supporting musicians such as Jesca Hoop, and Olivia Cheney.
In early 2025 Gigi will be releasing her most ambitious project to date, titled ‘Life at the Kitchen Table’, a 4 track EP that covers the full spectrum of human emotion. Each song offers a window into a different specific moment.
She effortlessly translates unique and personal experiences to her audience, conveying each emotion through ethereal imagery and playful lyrics. Her voice moves gently accompanied by layered guitar-led instrumentals leaving you warm and washed with introspection. One to watch if you like storytelling, conflicting emotions and folk-inspired, textured vocals.

Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
