With a blend of folk storytelling and intricate fingerstyle guitar, WOUNDED BEAR will bring a selection of talented folk instrumentalists together for a one-off night at Green note to celebrate the release of his sophmore E.P ‘A Few Honest Years in Paradise’.
After touring with Benjamin Francis Leftwich and co-writing New York—covered live by Matt Healy of The 1975—Josh Finn of Wounded Bear has returned to his own music, weaving vivid vignettes from the small moments that shape our lives. In his songs, wine is drunk from coffee cups, bars are filled with waitresses dressed as cheerleaders and planes overhead hint a possible escape. Played on BBC introducing and included in Ear to the Ground’s selection of ‘songwriters that could change your life’ Josh has been compared to the likes of Mark Kozelek, Pheobe bridgers and Leonard Cohen.
Support from PHILINE.
