ANNALIE WILSON is a deep and soulful singer songwriter who tells it like it is. Or how it could be. Tenderness dances with yearning in a voice that comes straight from the heart. Her songs explore the perfect imperfection of being human, the wars we wage inside and out. Annalie’s stage show is an immersive experience of storytelling, emotional reckoning and left field humour. Backed by guitar and piano with live vocal harmonies, her sound sits loosely in the realm of folk, with jazz and blues influences.

Annalie’s EP was released in 2020 and its title song “Power To Change” is a haunting call to arms on the theme of the climate crisis. “Breath” followed, and its powerful video featuring ex-National Ballet dancer Shevelle Dynott was screened at New York’s 2023 NoirFest. She has toured in Norway and Poland and performed at How The Light Gets In, The Thames Festival and now returns to the Green Note for the third time. 2020-2023 brought challenging times and her recent releases, “Depths” and “Everyday Magic” are a testament to this journey from darkness back to light.

“Relatable and inspirational…embroils a listener to hang on to every long note and wish the song would go on for longer” – Get Into This

“Absolutely wonderful” – Bruce MacGregor, BBC Radio Scotland
