DAN McKINNON: Nova Scotian folksinger/songwriter/solo guitarist, Dan McKinnon, has carved out a defiantly unique musical path. Blessed with a gorgeous, room-shaking baritone voice, dextrous guitar work, and intelligent, well-observed story-songs. He has the keen insight of a natural storyteller, His sharply observed and passionately delivered songs bring alive the history and spirit of our collective past, inspiring audiences in both the Old and New Worlds, and introducing an unexpected freshness to the neo-traditional roots.

“You can hear from the moment he steps out in front of an audience that he’s one of the most engaging and genuine performers on the scene.” (David Kidman, The Living Tradition)
