FANNY LUMSDEN

ARIA award-winning Australian artist Fanny Lumsden’s shows are one of a kind. An all-in affair, where joy and exuberance meet intimate storytelling, delivered with wit, warmth & luscious harmonies. Alongside her band The Prawn Stars, Fanny has ‘established herself as one of the genre’s most esteemed performers’ (The Australian), honing her craft in hundreds of halls across Australia on their annual ‘Country Halls Tour’ and is making her UK debut at Glastonbury on Avalon Stage followed by an Irish run of shows and of course the Green note in London.

Having grown up on a farm and spending most of her time touring regional Australia in a caravan, Fanny’s songs are born of the red dirt, the snowy mountains, and the people in between. She’s a farmer, a volunteer firefighter, a highly acclaimed singer songwriter with her album fallow (2020) taking out the ARIA Award for Country Album of the Year and 5 CMAA Golden Guitars, including Album of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. The album was also shortlisted for the prestigious Australian Music Prize Top 9 Australian Albums (2020) and topped it off with an APRA award nomination for one of the Top 5 most radio played country songs in 2021 for Dig.

The show is hilarious, inclusive and adventurous and don’t let the name fool you  – it’s perfect for the whole family!
