FREYjA: Award-winning Australian songwriter, FREYjA, is appearing at Green Note where she will share the stories behind her songs along with guitarist Luca Boscagin (Georgie Fame, John Wetton, Cinematic Orchestra) drummer Paul Robinson (Nina Simone, Van Morrison, Eric Bibb) and bass player Jonny Gee (Dame Cleo Laine, Ravi Shankar, Britten Sinfonia)
The siren has floored audiences in New York, Paris, Rome, London, at festivals many and varied, including Stadium Australia, Woodford Folk Festival and Montreux Festival, Switzerland.
Now fresh from a sold-out season in Sydney, after her hiatus spent penning books and recording a fifth album, “The Furnace Recordings”, FREYjA offers up an intimate night of folk/jazz which you will not want to miss.

Doors open 7.30pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
