A founding member of old-time supergroup, Uncle Earl (which re-formed for a successful US tour in 2016) Rayna Gellert is renowned for a rich depth of knowledge and masterclass performances of traditional fiddle music…and a composer highly regarded by her peers, who has produced albums that won praise on both sides of the Atlantic.
Joined here by friend and collaborator Kai Welch and percussionist Jamie Dick (from Rhiannon Giddens’ band), this is a rare visit to these shores by an artiste who is A Grade on every level.
