Actor/ musician SAM BLENKIN & FRIENDS present a night of kaleidoscopic electro-folk songs, encompassing fragments of childhood memory, grief, joy and trampolines: with a touch of the absurd and one eye firmly trained on the beauty of the world.
Sam has always managed to shoehorn music into his work as an actor, and his collection of original songs, homegrown from his Dad’s musical tastes (John Martyn, Bruce Cockburn, Jade Warrior, Caravan and Pink Floyd-ish) has continued to quietly grow. Expect intricate guitar and banjo arrangements, harmonium drones, and the occasional drum machine…
Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
