SEAFARERS are a group of five close-knit and wide ranging musicians, uniting some of the most prominent voices in contemporary folk and improvised music. They have released two albums (Orlando, 2020; II, 2022) to widespread international acclaim.
Known for their singular blend of indie folk and chamber pop, Seafarers were formed by songwriter and saxophone player Matthew Herd in 2018 to record their debut album, Orlando. Drawing acclaim from many international sources, the band returned two years later to record II, a record that explores the bittersweet depths of teenagerdom.
