We are delighted to present an evening of pure Irish joy with Seán Millar also known as Doctor Millar the beloved singer-songwriter from Dublin.
He has released 5 Solo albums and also plays with his old friend Nick Kelly in their band DOGS in iconic venues and festivals such as Glastonbury.
‘The Bitter Lie’ got him nominated for a Hotpress Heineken award for best songwriter and has made several critics best Irish albums of all time lists.
‘ Always Coming Home’ had him hailed as ‘a national treasure’ by the Irish Times and The Hotpress Magazine review pointed out why his work was more relevant than Dylan and Elvis Costello.
‘C48’ was hailed as a masterpiece by Hotpress.
Séan celebrated his 60th birthday last year with a sold-out show in the iconic Dublin venue Whelan’s. It was a fantastic night, hailed by The Irish Times as Gig Of the week.
Seán is delighted to be playing at the iconic Green Note in Camden. He will be playing a selection of his most popular songs. He may even play a song from his time living in London with his band Dr Millar & The Cute Hoors!
Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
