Shortt and Kai is a brand new partnership between the hilarious comedy-musician Kate Shortt and musical theatre cabaret artist Marcus Kai. Cellist, Pianist, Singer-Songwriter, Poet and Comedienne Kate Shortt, performs her ‘sit down’ comedy show with cello, keyboard, kazoo, RAP plus more. Her audience are taken on a ride from observational songs involving Jewish cats, orgasmic Bach, love songs to cars, impressions and live recorded looped improvisations. Marcus Kai, a professional Actor, Singer and Comedy Screenwriter, combines all three for a night of love, laughs and…lucky charms!
Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited, and available on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
