SHOTGUN JIMMIE: Shotgun Jimmie is a performer based in the Canadian prairies. He’s been touring regularly and releasing records on Toronto’s You’ve Changed Records since 2009. He cut his rock & roll teeth in the early 2000’s, along with Julie Doiron (Eric’s Trip) in the band Shotgun and Jaybird. He has appeared on recordings by John K. Samson (Weakerthans), Joel Plaskett (Thrush Hermit) and By Divine Right. His 2011 release Transistor Sister was long-listed for Canada’s Polaris Music Prize. Jimmie toured the UK for the first time last year with his dear friends Mathias Kom and Ariel Sharrat of The Burning Hell. This time around, Jimmie is touring in support of his new self-titled EP.
Doors open 7.30pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
