The WILL SHACKLETON BAND weave influences of Blues, Country, Folk and Americana, around honest songwriting about life’s twists and turns. As a session guitarist in London, Will Shackleton has worked with renowned artists and musicians, including memorable sessions at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and Abbey Road Studios.

In early 2023, he took a road-trip to Granada, Andalusia, immersing himself in the beauty and stillness of the Sierra Nevada Mountains for two months of songwriting. Whilst there, he performed his songs at Escondido Festival alongside local musicians Cote Calmet (drums), Tommy Moore (bass) and fellow London-based guitarist, Rich Austin (slide guitar).

The band completed their first tour of Andalusia in December 2023, performing five shows in six days and finishing with an unforgettable night at Lemonrock, Granada. Before returning to London, the band spent the afternoon recording at Gismo7 Studios, Motril, capturing their songs, ’Travelling Light’, ’Two Tequila Kiss’ and ‘Barcelona’ live and on film.

Summer 2024 sees the Will Shackleton Band heading to London for a live recording session, plus an intimate gig at the wonderful Green Note in Camden, before returning to Andalusia for the final leg of their summer 2024 tour.
