With a blend of modern storytelling and intricate folk guitar playing, WOUNDED BEAR will be joined by a fellow musicians to play an intimate stripped back show.

After touring with Benjamin Francis Leftwich and co-writing New York—covered live by Matt Healy of The 1975—Josh of Wounded Bear has returned to his own music, weaving vivid vignettes of love, loss, and the fleeting moments that shape our lives. In his songs, wine is drunk from coffee cups, bars are filled with waitresses dressed as cheerleaders and planes overhead hint at both romantic escapes and heartbreak. All this to the back drop of melodic fingerstyle guitar.

REID JENKINS is a New York City-based violinist, songwriter, and producer. His 2023 album “Hall of Gems,” is a lush baroque bedroom pop jaunt sprung from the mind of a recovering over-thinker. Lacking the resources to tour with the symphony of sounds featured on the record, he’s bringing these songs to the stage with his voice and a guitar. In addition to his solo work, he is the co-founder of indie-folk-pop band Morningsiders and avant-folk trio Bold Forbes. He has composed and recorded string parts for such artists as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Maya Hawke, Cassandra Jenkins, Elanor Moss, Margaux, Gabe Goodman, Will Stratton, Gatlin, Tor Miller, Adrian Simon, among others.

Doors open 7.30pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
